- Introduction
1.1 Welcome to the Rikki Removals website. By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform.
- Service Description
2.1 Rikki Removals operates as a service provider, offering skilled drivers and porters to removals companies across the country.
- Invoicing and Payment Terms
3.1 Invoices will be issued every Saturday for services provided during the preceding week.
3.2 Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing prior to the issuance of the invoice.
3.3 Late payments may be subject to interest charges at a rate of 25% per month on the outstanding balance, accruing from the due date until the date of payment.
- Payment Methods
4.1 Payments must be made via the agreed-upon method outlined in the invoice.
4.2 Any additional charges related to payment methods (e.g., bank fees, wire transfer fees) are the responsibility of the payer.
- Debt Recovery
5.1 Failure to settle invoices within the specified timeframe may result in the initiation of debt recovery procedures.
5.2 Rikki Removals reserves the right to recover any costs incurred during the debt recovery process, including but not limited to legal fees, collection agency fees, and court costs.
- Dispute Resolution
6.1 In the event of a dispute regarding an invoice, both parties agree to enter into good-faith negotiations to resolve the matter promptly.
6.2 If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiations, either party may choose to pursue legal action, as outlined in Section 7.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
7.2 Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
- Amendments to Terms
8.1 Rikki Removals reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- Special Working Conditions
9.1 Evening and night shifts are paid at time and a half.
9.2 Sundays are paid at time and a half as standard.
9.3 Bank holidays are paid at time and a half.
9.4 Uniform is provided by us at Rikki Removals unless agreed otherwise.
